You’d be less stressed, happier, and probably a little more confident in yourself.

After all, dieting is the hardest part about losing weight…


I’m here to argue it’s not.

Not only is it not hard, I’m here to convince you it’s actually the easiest part.

Contrary to popular belief, learning how to lose weight without dieting is possible.

You just have to change your perspective a bit…

How To Lose Weight Without Dieting

Every day you turn on the TV or go on Facebook and someone else has a new magic, miracle cure for weight loss.

In fact, one of the newer and dumber ones I’ve seen just received a ton of publicity.

It’s called The Taco Diet. See for yourself:

This could be the DUMBEST, STUPIDEST, MOST IDIOTIC thing I’ve seen in a long time.

If you ask me to explain why it’s as moronic as I say it is, then my site and teaching probably isn’t for you.

Any weight loss plan that is structured around only eating 1 food to “detoxify your body” is so beyond nutritional science that I’m not going to waste my breath.

Now that the rant is over, let’s talk about the safe way to lose weight without dieting.

You see, “dieting” implies a temporary fix.

When you “diet,” it’s usually for a set period of time for a certain event.

You may want to “diet” for your wedding, for swimsuit season, or for a 10 year family reunion.

Whatever it is, as soon as that event finishes or the scale reads a certain number, the “diet” is over.

Shortly thereafter, you gain the weight back and start the “diet” all over.

So how do you lose weight without dieting?

Change the word 🙂

Yep. Stop using the gosh forsaken word.

In order to lose weight without dieting, you have to change your habits and your lifestyle.

I get it. Dieting isn’t fun. It’s boring, restrictive, and an overall pain in the ass.

Why do you think even competitive bodybuilders and figure models binge after a show?

That being said, don’t think there is something magic about ANYTHING you see from here on out.

How To Lose Weight Without Dieting: Calorie Balance

No amount of vegan, gluten-free, non-GMO, paleo, Twinkies, tacos, or girl scout cookie diets are going to work unless you eat less calories than you burn.

End. Of. Story.

Seriously. Magic is gone.

What does that mean?

It means that, luckily for you, there are 2 sides to that equation.

Calories in > calories out = weight gain

Calories in < calories out = weight loss

Are all calories created the same? Not on your life.

However, the #1 most important factor is to control your energy balance.

One of my mentors, Dr. John Berardi of Precision Nutrition, calls it “G-Flux.”

The long and the short of it is that you can control either how many calories you take in or burn more calories throughout the day.

If you’re like me and enjoy pizza, beer, and Dairy Queen, then you’ll have to burn more calories.

If you want to know how to lose weight without dieting, this is your 1st answer.

Burn. More. Calories.

Done. That’s the magic.

You can do more intense training, workout more days per week, workout more times per day, or whatever your little heart desires.

The possibilities are endless.

Now let’s say you don’t have the time or knowledge to workout more or more intensely.

Well, sorry to break it to you, but you’ll have to work on the other side of that wonderful equation.

Eat. Less Calories.

Do you have to “diet” to do this?

Nope. Not at all.

The simplest way for you to do this, especially if you’re just starting out, is to change a SINGLE habit of yours.

Let’s take Stacy for example.

Stacy is a single mom with 2 kids so it’s very difficult for her to cook separate meals for her and for her boys.

So how does Stacy eat less calories without dieting.

Let’s look at dinner, shall we?

Stacy cooks chicken, mashed potatoes, and green beans for her boys.

Stacy likes gravy on her mashed potatoes because Stacy is normal and normal people like gravy on their mashed potatoes 🙂

*P.S. If you don’t like gravy on your mashed potatoes, we can still be friends. I just think you’re weird*

Stacy has 2 easy, simple choices.

She can either:

  1. Not eat the gravy, or
  2. Eat half the potatoes and gravy she normally would eat.

See? Was that so hard?

If she did that every night, Stacy would cut out hundreds, if not thousands of calories each week.

Almost on accident, Stacy learned how to lose weight without dieting just by changing ONE thing she did.

Then, after that stops working, Stacy can add in something new.

Seriously guys…

That’s the secret.

Nothing else.

Don’t make it harder or more “mystical” then it needs to be.
